I will admit it. I have been very (very) negative lately. About a month ago I got sick, some kind of nasty winter bug and have been in a foul mood ever since. I will admit that it has been a long time since I have been that sick, but I have allowed that to spiral. I have complained about everything and the time change piled on top has just made it worse.

I noticed a few days ago that I really needed to pop myself out of this funk and start attracting positively again. Especially since I can’t help but notice all the things that have gone wrong since then. I ordered prints that came out looking awful, the guys working on our road knocked down an old fence protecting the property, we haven’t been able to get the garbage truck down the road with all the work to empty our dumpster, some strange animal showed up and set every dog barking at full volume all night long, today I was surrounded by the most annoying drivers. The list could go on and on. I have been in a foul mood and I was attracting things that would keep me in a foul mood.  Even my flu was likely a direct result of feelings of being overwhelmed with everything I had lining up for the year.

So what is my plan? Well first is music. Great music can do so much to alleviate stress and negativity, like a book it can take you to a new place. Second reading, not fiction, because story is all about conflict and I don’t want to bring that in to my life, but nonfiction can either teach you or show you the amazing things in the world through other people’s eyes. I don’t watch a lot of television, but usually have movies on as background noise, so for the time being only comedies and kids movies.

I am also going to go back to making a no symbol (circle with a line through) every time I have a negative thought. That has helped me tremendously and my spirit guides suggested I make the symbol out of water to help wash away the negativity. We had a Secret Sisters meeting today and a birthday party for Secret Sister 4. I had a good time and I think it helped to give me a jolt in the right direction.
